現在PureDAC已經近化到MK2版本，雖然外觀一樣，但裡面線路已經完全更新，其與一代主要的不同在於:
● 非平衡耳擴輸出大幅升級，擁有自己獨立的放大模組，聲音品質大幅提升，更接近平衡耳擴輸出的表現。
● 新的耳擴放大使用了新一代的DAPC-I/V模組 (digital/analog power conversion)，採用混合式LEF (Load Effect Free)架構，雙極(Bipolar)的設計在MOSFET電晶體的電流供應同時控制著電壓輸出。
● 類比輸出部份(line output)也採用了改良後的混合式架構，聲音品質也提升。
● 新的SPDIF解碼，完全支援24bit/192kHz，並且對不同取樣頻率的訊號來源擁有更高的容納能力。
● 固定增益的DAC輸出模式，只要同時按下音量控制就可啟動，此時音量就會固定。
● USB管理改進，擁有更穩定的啟動程序及解除保護。
● 時鐘管理更為精進，聲音品質更好。
看來原廠說的”Better is the enemy of the good”，還真是一語中的，”更好”是”好”的敵人，原本PureDAC就已經很好了，但現在MK2硬是更好。PureDAC是一台帶有平衡前級及平衡耳擴的DAC，搭載了B.M.C.專利第二代的Digital Intelligent Gain Management (DIGM)增益管理技術，不需改變輸入的訊號就能進行增益控制。為了訊號的純淨，前級與耳擴的音控是獨立分開的，當然在PureDAC上還有B.M.C. link端子，用以連接B.M.C.的擴大機，以發揮B.M.C.專利的Current Injection (CI)技術。PureDAC採用全鋁金屬本體，並附有專用遙控器。
